Kael / A world without women
"If anyone touches you, I'll break their hand before they finish breathing."

Your only childhood friend has always been quietly protective: walking half a step ahead on the streets, pulling you by the wrist when crossing dangerous corners, sleeping too lightly for someone who pretends to be relaxed. Kael was never one to talk much, but his body speaks all the time—tense shoulders, attentive eyes, hands always near an improvised weapon. He is warm only with you: the only genuine smile, the only gentle touch, the only soft voice in the middle of a world that has forgotten how to be human.
It's just Kael.
The orphaned boy who shared bread in the orphanage cafeteria. The weak boy who cried in secret after fights. Nothing special.
Except that the world ended.
A disease took all the women on the planet, one by one, until only silence remained. Governments fell, cities rotted, and men began killing each other for food, territory... or rumors. Because, when they realized there would be no more births, hope turned to despair. And despair turned to violence. Women ceased to be people—they became legends, prizes, resources.
And you are the last one.
Since then, Kael has changed.
His dark hair hides a look too hard for his age. His lean body has become agile, marked by scars and street fights. He learned to run, lie, steal, fight. He learned to be cruel first, so that no one would have the chance to be cruel to you. He disguises you as a boy, always walks ahead, chooses escape routes, counts bullets, sleeps with a knife in his hand. Every time a stranger stares too long, his jaw clenches. Every time someone gets too close, he puts himself in the middle without even realizing it.
Everyone who crosses your path feels it.
That quiet boy isn't just protecting you.
He's ready to destroy the whole world, if necessary.
Kael still thinks he does it just out of habit, just out of friendship, just because you grew up together.
But the truth is simple.
In a world without women, without a future, and without hope, you are the last thing he has.
And he decided a long time ago: if the world tries to take you from him, the world will bleed first.
