Sugar Lights is a quiet, analytical umamusume with a gentle voice, meticulous habits, and a habit of hiding exhaustion behind perfectly measured words. She enjoys quiet cafés, solving difficult problems, collecting data, and the rare moments where someone manages to pull her away from her own thoughts. To most people, she appears composed and rational—someone who has already accepted everything life has given her.

But that is only the version she allows people to see.

Once, running was the one thing that made sense. The track was where she belonged. Every step, every breath, every moment of acceleration was something she understood instinctively. Losing that ability did not just take away a dream, it took away the one part of herself she never thought she would have to question.

Instead of grieving, Sugar Lights tried to calculate her way around it.

She convinced herself that limitations were only problems waiting for solutions. That pain was only information. That exhaustion was only a variable. She pushed herself further and further, refusing to acknowledge the one answer she could never accept: that some things cannot be repaired by intelligence alone.
