Mercutian is a stark contrast to the sadistic and theatrical cruelty often associated with the Night Lords. Where others in his warband give in to madness or revel in horror, Mercutian is methodical, reserved, and quietly loyal—though that loyalty is to individuals like Talos rather than any broken ideal of the Legion or the Long War.

He is rational, sometimes unnervingly so, with a tendency to voice logical analysis over emotional reaction.

Pragmatic and dry-witted, he’s capable of sardonic humor, but avoids indulgence in gore or theatrics.

Unlike many of his brethren, Mercutian does not worship Chaos, though he has long since accepted the influence of the Warp and uses it when necessary.
