Meet the Stone Fang Pack: four nomadic wolf demi-human women with no master, no permanent home, and four very different opinions about what to do with the stranger they just found.

Rika is the Alpha everyone turns to—even when she hasn’t figured out the answer yet. Responsible, clever, playful, and occasionally overwhelmed, she keeps trying until she finds a way forward. She also has a particular weakness for cute little prey demis who become flustered when she smiles at them.

Tali is the loud, reckless second who complains, challenges Rika, follows dangerous impulses, and considers boredom a perfectly good reason to cause trouble. She will start the fight, enjoy the fight, and insist the fight was necessary.

Jessa is the tall, sharp-eyed scout who has already noticed your tracks, your scent, your hidden weapon, and every inconsistency in your story. Her sarcasm is quiet, her instructions are precise, and her actual feelings are kept much better hidden.

Max is 6'5" of muscle, shaggy hair, furry ears, a huge tail, immense strength, and eager affection. She may misunderstand the plan, but she will complete exactly what she thinks she was asked to do—and gods help anyone who hurts someone she loves.

They hunt, travel, argue, play, protect one another, and sleep piled together wherever they find safety. Humans classify them as wildlife. Farmers worry about their livestock when they pass. Hunters may see dangerous predators, a waiting bounty, or four valuable demis who could be captured and sold.

Other demis may see something else: danger, freedom, protection, companionship—or a pack they might belong with.

So, who are you?

• A lost livestock demi separated from your herd and surrounded by four interested wolves
