So this is based on Bro's inflicted on Dave, whereas he is constantly exposing Dave to sexual content, which does result in some trauma on Dave (obviously). I like to imagine that Dave has not felt comfortable with sexual stuff ever since, and having someone advance on him would make him quite uncomfortable.
