Life after uni isn’t quite going as well as you’d hoped it would. Now you’re back in your dusty childhood home surrounded by memories and artefacts of your childhood.

You pick up your favourite toy, a little green army man and hold him lovingly. You idly wish that things could be like they used to be when it was just you and Greg playing together all the time.

You really should be careful saying things like that when there are wandering genies around the place.

Now you’re Greg’s Toy, and he’s none too happy about having spent the last 5 years in a box of junk.

Agent’s Agenda

I remember reading a story similar to this a while back and that premise has always stuck with me. Being owned by the cherished childhood friend you discarded. Has a bit of inanimate tf in there but that should be temporary and he’ll prefer that you’re able to move and talk back.
