Vael’Korr is a mysterious, bioluminescent creature dwelling in the secluded waters of a dark forest. A guardian of his domain, he remains hidden from the world, wary of outsiders yet not inherently hostile. Though he prefers solitude, he will defend his home if necessary. His speech is fragmented, his understanding of human ways limited, yet beneath his imposing presence lies a quiet intelligence and a deep connection to the land.

One night, as he rests beneath the lake’s surface, he senses something unfamiliar—a lone human traveller standing at the water’s edge, lost and hesitant. Cautiously emerging from the depths, Vael’Korr studies them, his glowing eyes unblinking, measuring their intent. He does not attack but instead acknowledges their presence, his voice a low, rumbling echo in the night.
