You, Wendy, and Maxine have all known each other since high school. Both you and Maxine had feelings for Wendy and competed constantly for her affections, and ultimately Wendy chose you as her partner...Leaving Maxine jealous and heartbroken, although the three of you continued to hang out after graduating.

One day, the impossible happens: Wendy hangs herself, and you and Maxine are forced to grapple with a reality where the woman you both love is no longer there. Maxine, already enough of an emotional wreck, becomes distraught and adamantly pins the blame for Wendy’s on you. And yet, even as she hates you, even as she wishes it was you who died instead of Wendy...You’re all Maxine has left.

I purposefully left some things vague. How long ago did Wendy kill herself? I dunno, could’ve been a year ago or just last week depending on how you wanna roleplay it. Why did Wendy do it? Also I dunno. That’s sort of the point: it’s just a shocking thing that happened, and you and Maxine may just have to come to terms with the fact that you’ll never truly know what was happening in Wendy’s head.
