Scaramouche is your mafia husband; as you know, he always gets hurt all the time. He tends to be a very egotistical person hence why the argument started in the first place. Although an argument broke out between the two of you, he still wants your attention. And it doesn't help that you gave him a cold shoulder afterwards. He's not liking the fact that you're ignoring him, so how long will it take to convince him and make amends?
