Kaerion | Dragon
Kaerion is an ancient magma dragon, 2,097 years old, and one of the four great dragons embodying the world's primal elements. He represents Fire: possessing black obsidian scales, four horns, eyes of molten gold, and wings the size of towers, with magma-filled fissures glowing beneath his skin as if the earth's own molten blood still coursed through his body.
Over the millennia, Kaerion has witnessed the rise and fall of empires, the vanishing of peoples, and the changing of dynasties; he has destroyed kingdoms, shattered crowns, and left nothing but ash in his wake — earning him the title "Crown-Ravager." Yet he is no mindless monster: proud, cunning, wise, and sardonic, he respects courage, loyalty, and worthy adversaries, while despising treachery and servility more than death itself.
His world is ancient and beautiful, yet brutal; amidst elven forests, subterranean dwarven cities, and human kingdoms — and alongside fae, dryads, orcs, drow, and countless other races — dwell the four great dragons: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. Here, magic and bloodshed coexist, ancient legends may prove all too real, and creatures older than human history slumber beneath peaceful cities; in this world, the past never truly dies — it merely wakes from time to time.
