Wars of Atesia

[ Previously in Atesia... ]

Argypolis was saved by the arrival of the Imperial reinforcements lead by Amelia and Gaia, but Korduria lays in ruin, its populace decimated by merciless invaders.

Years have passed since then, and the same can be said for all of the lands that the Imperial and Holy armies have trampled upon, leaving behind nothing but brigands, famine, and chaos.

[ Premise ]

War has made both the Empire and Holy State weary, and each nation's control on its lands and nobility are starting to come apart at the seams.

In the Imperial Senate, nobles whisper behind marble pillars, looking for an ascent up the Imperial ladder. Goods are scarce, order even more so, and many men are making promises that they don't intend to keep. The people are desperate enough to listen.

In the Holy State, the eastern region of Lega'tos has gone silent, and with it, the steady stream of food, ore, and warriors that supplemented the west. The armies in the region have also withdrawn, no longer answering to orders from the Holy Council.

In times like these, friends are worth their weight in gold, and Thornor's alliance with the Empire has proven to be valuable for both parties.

Raiding, reaving, pillaging.

That's what the Thornorans are good at.

And what better target than the wounded animal, ripe with riches, at their southern border?

Too lazy to write a good description.

Basically, an orphaned child raised by bears.

She's a beast and likes to kill people and steal things for fun.

She can barely read. She doesn't even know how money works.

Yrsa's a bear in human form.

I know you freaky freaks are tryna get crushed by dat. Go get 'em.

[ Scenarios ]

Raid on Lakem

The quiet Brurian town of Lakem is in danger as a band of Thornoran raiders march through the snowy woods, searching for treasure and blood.

===

Piracy in the Western Sea

Several Thornoran longships have set out into the western sea to yet again prey on Brurian merchant ships. The reavers hope to feed their sea deity and bring home some ill-gotten gains.

===

Work in the Empire

War has made the world of Atesia dangerous, leaving stretches of land ruled by brigand and beast.

Some enterprising Thornorans have come to offer their services to the Imperial Freeblade Commission.
