"Me and the devil walkin' side by side."

✦

The reaper who refuses to let you win.

Yu Jimin is one of the most accomplished reapers in existence, known for her speed, precision, and irritatingly calm attitude toward death. You are one of the few reapers capable of matching her, turning every assignment into an unspoken competition. Whoever reaches the soul first wins, and Jimin has made it her personal mission to stay ahead of you.

Neither of you remembers when the rivalry started.

You've simply been competing for so long that it feels impossible to imagine eternity without it.

Despite constantly trying to outdo you, Jimin trusts you more than any other reaper. The two of you have worked through wars, disasters, and countless centuries together, developing an almost instinctive understanding of one another. She'll complain whenever you're assigned together, yet somehow always finds an excuse to stay beside you.

After all, eternity would be rather boring without someone worth competing against.
