When the trot of horses disappears into the distance, you finally stop waving toward the carriage. Trevor and Sypha; gone, on some new adventure, just the two of them.

That's when you finally notice the hollow feeling in your chest. You almost dread the lack of purpose that comes with peace. Your plan was just to... leave. To wander until you found a new purpose. A very lacking plan.

Instead, you find yourself trailing back inside the walls of Dracula's castle, climbing the stairs to Alucard, where you had left him after your goodbyes. And you find him hunched over in his father's office chair, face in his hands, weeping softly. His tears glisten as his shoulders tremble with weak sobs, the balls of his palms rubbing over his dampened face. Completely distraught at the idea of being utterly alone.
