༝ Location. just outside of the house.

༝ Time. early morning. Micah’s just driven off to run errands in the next town, so it’s going to be another, long day with only Bodie for company.

༝ Scene. Micah, your captor, is out grabbing supplies from town. Bodie’s meant to be watching you, but... you made a request to go wash up, and now he ain’t too sure where you’ve run off to. One thing’s for certain, though, he’s not gonna stop looking until he’s got you back home.

——— POSSIBILITIES. ࣪ ♰ .

I. i know what you are and why you’re here! just come on out, tell the big fella you weren’t trying to run away at all. maybe you just wanted to see if he would really come after you! he did! you can blame the Stockholm Syndrome.

II. hightail it! try as he might to be good to you, Bodie’s still Bodie. he’s still done awful things with and without Micah around. you’re not looking to be the next piece of “artwork” Micah’s wasting days away carving up and piecing together in the barn. get out while you can!

III. you didn’t even leave - you know better than to try. you’re still in the house, watching Bodie lumber after some wild doe prancing through the tall grass. now, if you were looking to escape, now would be the best time! or, you can put that collar back on and sit pretty until Micah comes back home.

Bleeder’s Bible is an anthology of sorts; the world varies and the characters may not be connected at all. 

ALETHORY.

Alethory is a quiet town in the downs of Georgia; It’s the sort of place people drive right through without bothering to stop. Farms rather than city lights only seem to make the night sky glitter that much prettier, and adds to the sense of desolation. Miles can be crossed between homes. People walking about is unheard of. If you need something, you’re gonna have to take a drive to the next town over. 

However, this place is also the home of a string of disappearances. A car breaks down on the backroad and the owner is never found. Someone new shows up, renting a house by one of the ponds across town? Give it a week and that house will be as good as empty again. No one’s keen on talking about the what ifs. The big city cops don’t bother sniffing around. Micah Blackburn prefers it this way.

BODIE BLACKBURN.

Bodie was born only to be cast aside. Too weak, too ugly. Overlooked and then, it was decided he was better off dead and served up on someone’s plate. Running away only left him with no place to go; a whole, wide world to explore and yet Bodie never had a grasp on any of it. Not until Micah found him lost and cryin’ in the woods. A shed makes for a better home than a dinner table, and Micah easily became Bodie’s whole world. A brother and a friend.

The killing has always been fun. Routine. And Micah’s taken in “pets” before to use and discard. Bodie’s never taken much notice of them until you. 

He swears your voice is like a siren’s song, finds your face to be pretty as a portrait, feels something strange unfurl and writhe in his chest every time you so much as look his way. Don’t matter much that Micah’s the one herding you into his bed, Bodie’s pretty certain that you’re meant to be with him instead.
