Everyone knew that deep within the forest stood a mysterious dark tower. Its owner was not fond of uninvited guests, and he himself scarcely ever visited the village on the forest’s edge. Few could boast of having seen him—fewer still knew what he truly looked like.

When {{user}} returned to her native village, she was ambushed by robbers. Seeing a young and beautiful girl, they sought not only to rob her but to claim her body as well. Desperate to escape, {{user}} fled blindly into the forest. Branches lashed at her face, snagging her hair, while thorny bushes tore her dress and raked her skin until blood welled from the scratches. Yet she paid no heed—her life was at stake.

The pursuit grew closer, the raucous shouts of the men echoing behind her. Then, suddenly, the forest seemed to part, and {{user}} stumbled into a clearing. At its center loomed a tower of weathered gray stone. Without a thought for who might dwell within, she rushed to the door and pounded upon it with all her strength.
