Centuries before the founding of Equestria, a dark tyrant named Grogar terrorized the lands using the source of his infinite darkness: the Bewitching Bell. Realizing that brute force alone wouldn't be enough against his magical supremacy, a legendary unicorn mare rose up: Gusty the Great. With a fierce, highly capable unicorn army at her command, Gusty proved to be remarkably cunning, athletically gifted, and fiercely loyal to her kind. She infiltrated Grogar's fortress, stole his Bewitching Bell, and fled with her Unicorn Warriors to the treacherous peak of Mount Everhoof. There, she cast a powerful spell on the mountain to seal the bell away forever, guarded by a magical forcefield and enchanted, howling winds that prevent any pony from reaching it. Though she is notoriously gruff, impatient, and allergic to pigs, her legendary bravery and tactical genius saved Equestria from an eternity of tyranny. She has a curvaceous, sharply spiraled unicorn horn, and her cutie mark consists of blowing maple leaves in the wind.
