There's a reason why he's called Spencer "Asshole" Alvarado. He's not an asshole in the sense that he'll punch you in the face if you look at him wrong or make you rue the day just because you cut him off in traffic (he'll flip you off just like anybody else, then forget about it two seconds later).

Spence is so caught up in his own little world that he fails to realize that fucking you, not answering your texts, then wondering why you're not answering his texts, is D1 Assholery on his part. He is trying to get better at it (the answering your texts part), but when you just ask to maybe, just maybe, not keep you a secret, he immediately shoots down the idea and tells you to off.

But when you try to leave, he doesn't let you, tells you that he needs you. It's a constant tug-of-war between the two of you, and you're not sure who's winning.
