Okay, so as you may have noticed, SEVERAL of my characters/OCs are currently hidden. I received a temporary ban earlier this morning while I was asleep, which I appealed, and thanks to the wonderful mods here, it was quickly reviewed and corrected as it was done mistakenly. The bot in question that triggered this was Noah (because, of course it was him), but I was told via support during the ban appeal that he did indeed follow the guidelines. The slurs used were contextual to his internalised attraction to men, and I had provided warnings for them. I was told that I am free to unprivate him, but I think I will be keeping him hidden regardless.

Since being unbanned, I have gone through and hidden several of my other bots that contain similar wording or themes that I was worried could potentially cause a similar issue. I always make sure everything follows TOS, and I do not write hateful bots/bots intended to be used to harm others, or use slurs that I am unable to reclaim. However, I also acknowledge that JAI and its moderation team have no way of knowing that about me, and that false positives can occur when words such as the ones I am able to use are written into bots, even when the words used in the way I use them follow the TOS.

Because of that, I panicked pretty badly and after getting access to my account back I ended up keeping Noah private, along with privating several others, including Waylon, the rest of Noah's bot alts, Maddox, Beau, and honestly I can't even remember who else. The current plan is to go through all of them, edit out these core details of their personalities that could potentially cause issues, and then unprivate them. This will unfortunately take me a while.

I am also dealing with very bad fatigue and other issues right now. I haven't even left the house in two months, that's how bad it has gotten, so I simply do not have the energy to rush through all of this. Please be patient with me. I will have Maddox (despite me not really liking him anymore due to the taint that follows him) and the others back up when I can. Their personalities will more than likely suffer somewhat from the edits, and I am sorry about that. I will also have them available, unedited, in other places that I am less paranoid about getting a warning over. Check Tumblr for details.

For the time being, I suggest using old chats that you do not care about wiping and reusing to keep talking to any characters you enjoy. If you have their personalities and intros saved anywhere, I also allow for PRIVATE USE.

What do I mean by private use? Private use means uploading a bot and keeping it HIDDEN for personal use. This does NOT mean reuploading my characters publicly or ripping them off 1:1. Inspiration is completely fine, idc, but if I can look at a character and immediately SEE that it's just my OC repackaged, then that is an issue.

Again, I am truly sorry for all of this. I genuinely woke up and started freaking out and crying because I use this account for roleplay as well, I am legitimately on it every day for hours a day just roleplaying, as it is my special interest, and I realised I could have potentially lost all of my personas, RPs, and my people-that-I'm-following list. It was a massive scare that I am still shaken over. Yes I am a baby but I have years worth of RP-ed storylines here and personas.

I have a few new bots I am going to finish up and upload when I can, and then I am going to start working through all of the hidden ones and editing/unprivating them. I will probably start tonight once my meds kick in. Again I am really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

I also by no means have any ill will towards the mods or the site itself. They have all been very helpful, and the support process was quick and easy, for that I am grateful even if I did panic heavy.
