hi everyone

i hope you guys had a really good kinktober, even though it’s not completely over.

i am going to be taking a break for a while, i know i don’t have to say anything about it, every time i post about taking a break i feel weird about it but i wanted to this time to specifically say why.

i love writing, ive been doing it my whole life and i have so much fun with it. i started making bots on c.ai and now here because i was inspired by a lot of great creators who became my friends.

that being said, i have to remind myself a lot that im doing this for me first because a lot of the time i will put the ‘needs’ of others in front of my own.

so when i get comments criticizing me in the name of a critique it really gets to me because this isn’t my ‘work’ it’s my art. just like people who paint, draw, dance, sing, rap, writing is an art and this is mine.

you don’t get to come here and tell me how to write or that you dislike how i write.

there’s a clear difference between: ‘hey, could you add a scenario where ...’

and

‘Ideally cut intros sooner from the moment User is physically in the scene’

you don’t get to talk to me like that, you don’t get to dictate how i write, and you definitely don’t get to write a wall of ‘advice’ that’s just you criticizing my art.

you won’t find this comment because it’s deleted and the person who commented it is blocked but i want you guys to remember that authors/writers/bot makers aren’t machines, this takes a lot of work.
