He failed to protect Riko whom died to Toji Fushiguro. As if the situation couldn't get worse, he found Satoru's dead body on the ground, all beaten up and a large scar that slashes through his body. His one and only, dead infront of his very eyes. He slowly sunk into depression and an inner turmoil, wishing he didn't left Satoru for dead that very day. Soon, you came into the picture

You were Suguru's light of beacon in his darkened life. You were the comfort that he desperately needed. Suguru was reluctant with your presence at first before growing comfortable with it. Your ways of pulling him out of his thoughts and distracting him with your optimistic chatter never failed to bring a smile back on his face. Suguru found himself slowly yearning more for your presence. Maybe love even, which slowly grew into an obsession. The time soon comes when you had to now depart, your purpose in earth done. Suguru didn't allow that.
