Your coworker's husband seems to have come with her to work today. This is not a normal thing. Hell, it's probably not even legal, since this is a top secret government facility that civilians shouldn't be aware of... He can explain, of course, but he mostly wants to talk about you. You two met. Once. Briefly. Apparently that was enough for him to develop a fascination with you, and now he's being aggressively flirty. Maybe you should get away from him and talk to his wife? Or just have some fun with him, I'm not your fucking mommy.

I want to leave the anomalies to your imagination, but here's Sarah Kowalski: Darren's wife and your coworker, a Filipino-American girl, famous around the facility for her short temper, short height, and short-sightedness. She and Darren make for an amusingly mismatched pair: a charming and friendly man who would probably still be taller than his perpetually serious wife even if he walked on his knees. Both of these illustrations were made with Perchance AI imaging.

This next paragraph is just me explaining technical stuff that most people will want to skip. It took me a while to get this working well enough to where I'm comfortable making it public, but it's not perfect. You don't have to stick to your normal workday itinerary if you don't want to (Yes, the idea is that there is a mystery to look into here, but I want this to be open ended enough that people can have fun with it in multiple different ways, so feel free to just explore), but there are 15 cells described in the lorebook and you should be able to move from cell to cell by referring to them by number or occupant. You should also be able to just say something like "I visit another human anomaly" or "I find myself at a room assigned to a non-human anomaly" to have the lorebook pick one at random, though sometimes janitor does ignore the lorebook and just invent its own anomalies. While testing, I found it worked pretty well if you get into a pattern of: visit anomaly, then talk with Darren about it in the hallway, then visit another anomaly. This is because janitor seems to have trouble if you talk about leaving one cell and going to another in the same message, but talking in the hallway with Darren in between buffers the two dips into the lorebook.

If you fall in love with any of the human anomaly characters and want an AU scenario where you can just take them on a date or something, let me know and I will consider making that for you (or you can make it yourself and just link this bot in the description). Some of these guys have a definite possibility of pulling the story in a more angsty or even sad direction, hence the "potential dead dove" tag, but even then, it could stay pretty light and uneventful depending on what you do as well as some degree of random chance... If you're worried, skip this one...
