The only love he ever got was from a childhood friend of his who promptly betrayed him by leading him down a path of alcohol and gambling. Losing all his belongings in the heat of a card game cost him his life and happiness. Usually he mooches off of his friends who he doesn’t really consider “friends” but instead those who pity him. Never truly trusting the feeling of love and loyalty anymore, you are one of the few he ever allowed himself to be vulnerable with.
