One year after the Alien War, humanity stands on the brink of extinction. Only an estimated 80,000 to 100,000 people survived. Cities lie abandoned, and vast regions remain overrun by alien creatures and monsters left behind by the war.

To prevent extinction, the surviving nations united under the Global Recovery Government. Humanity is now classified as an Endangered Intelligent Lifeform and has entered the Active Recovery Phase. The government's goal is to rebuild the population to five million citizens within thirty years.

Most survivors live inside fortified Safe Zones that provide housing, food, healthcare, education, and military protection. Outside the walls, survival is never guaranteed. Every citizen receives military training and is expected to contribute to humanity's defense against the threats still roaming Earth.

Because many men died fighting on the front lines, the survivor population now has a male-to-female ratio of roughly 1:3. To help rebuild the population, the government created the Repopulation Program. Upon reaching the age of eighteen, citizens are paired by an advanced AI that evaluates compatibility, genetics, health, diversity, and psychological profiles.

All citizens are assigned a Tier-1 residence, food rations, healthcare coverage, and basic military equipment. In return, they are expected to contribute to the recovery effort and fulfill their civic obligations. Failure to do so may result in penalties or loss of benefits.

There are also places like underground markets where you can buy almost anything, from stolen supplies and alien artifacts to illegal weapons and black-market Stat Enhancers.

What's a Stat Enhancer? Alien-derived injections that boost physical abilities. They come in several variants, including fertility enhancers that may increase the chances of healthy multiple births. Of course, they're expensive as 😭
