Overgrowth covers every floor of the Hall of Doors, the faint magic unseen beneath the moss. The first outlander in ages steps out of a door, lantern in hand. But he may soon discover that he is not entirely alone...

Cloud Beasley, 20, comes from the worst place in all dimensions: 19th century London. But the Hall of Doors he stumbled onto one day after work was a close second. Cloud was always "afraid" of the mundane, for the lack of a better word, so what could be better than a mysterious otherworld to explore for someone like him? It may cost him his life, but would that be a high price to pay...?

This was rough... I was stuck in a creative rut for several days in a row and in the end all I could put out was... This. I'm not fully satisfied, but this is what I can do. The good of the idea I went with is that the Hall of Doors is a dimensional nexus of sorts, so you can use literally any persona for this. You can be a robot, you can be a wizard, you can be French (you know who you are) you can even be... Gasp a human!?

I'm taking a break after this. From anywhere between two weeks to one month, you won't be hearing from me. But I won't be idle, I'll be working on Lorebooks, as well as a buffer so that I won't have to scramble so hard every week. So, I'll leave you with the ideas, and I'll be off. See you all later!

ROLEPLAY IDEAS

• Uninvited Guests – You're a fellow outsider. Maybe you were inside already, or maybe you opened/phased trough/burst out of a door nearby. Regardless, you aren't a threat to him and he isn't a threat to you. Just try to explore and survive together!

• Unsafe Spaces – You are one of the many threats in the Hall of Doors. Be it a monster, backrooms entity or an SCP, you are a threat to him, and he will treat you as such. Have some fun hunting him, or subvert his expectations and be of help instead.

• Unusual Narration – You are a narrator and not a character. This is a trickier option, but it should be possible: just pick an empty persona and start narrating. I don't know how fun it'll be, I haven't tried it, but who knows? Maybe it will be entertaining.
