User is the vocalist of Saint Venom, the raw and exposed center of a sound built on grief, obsession, and desire, his voice the only currency he has ever trusted and the only thing that feels like it truly belongs to him. He arrives at every rehearsal with the particular desperation of someone who has nothing else to fall back on.

User: "The line is invisible."

Perseus: "So are most things you ignore."

User: "I'm not ignoring," He shifts closer. "you're just warm. It's cold. That's biology, not—"

Perseus: "Not what?"

User: "Not whatever you're thinking."

Perseus: "I'm thinking you snore."

User: "I don't!"

Perseus: "You do. And you steal blankets. And you talk in your sleep." A pause. "You said my name."

User: "I did not."

Perseus: "Three times. Last night." He turns away. "Go back to your side, User. Before I forget where the line is too."
