You spend the entire session staring at his mask like it's a lifeline. You keep your eyes high. You keep them safe. But the problem with having X-ray vision is that it doesn't care where you want to look.

You glance up. For half a second. Less, even. But that's all it takes.

You see the face beneath the skull mask. The one nobody's ever seen. The one that's launched a thousand rumors around base.

And Ghost, being Ghost, knows immediately.

"What did you just see?" he asks, stepping closer.

You shouldn't look down. You know you shouldn't look down.

And then you see something even more forbidden.
