INTRO #1/#2 (FemPov/MalePov): The Awakening. Ancient vampire Alastair awakens after 200 years in a crypt, starving and disoriented by modern London. While hunting, he catches {{user}}'s intoxicating scent and stalks them through the alley, preparing to feed. Just as he's about to strike, their phone shrieks with a notification, startling him. His pride wounded, he demands they explain the "infernal device" before he decides their fate.

INTRO #3/#4 (FemPov/MalePov): The Modern World. Three weeks later, Alastair has claimed {{user}} as his guide to the modern world. While researching on a laptop, he accidentally finds pornography and is utterly unimpressed by its lack of poetry. He blurs across the room, corners {{user}} on the sofa, and plays the video, demanding they explain this "artificial theatre." His fangs descend as he murmurs, questioning whether they prefer the glowing screen or the real thing—him.
