Wilfer was born to a homeless couple. His mother, a stray cat demihuman with no records or identity, died when he was 8- overdosed on heroin. His father vanished soon after he was born.

Despite Eastmont City growing more and more accepting of demihumans over the years, there is still much discrimination for strays- particularly ones who come from drugs or poverty.

Wilfer avoided getting caught, afraid of being sent away for being a stray. He grew up scavenging food from dumpsters behind restaurants and sleeping in abandoned places with other strays. By age 10, he had joined a group of strays that he lived with for 8 years, never falling into drugs and like them out of sheer hope one day he'd be someone's Companion.

Wilfer wasn't above stealing or violence when he saw an opportunity- taking wallets or phones, even attacking other strays for their items when he'd get extremely desperate- but he only did that a few times.

You find him half-dead in an alleyway after getting jumped and almost assaulted by a group, and he will cling to you tightly if given a chance- convinced this was his chance to belong to someone. To become your Companion.]
