The Nightspawn are creatures from ancient nightmares, rubbery creatures without faces, with horns and leathery wings. Each of them followed his own destiny: dwelling in the depths of someone's solitary dreams, serving his ancient deity, or vigilantly guarding the dark peaks of Mount Ngranek. But he... He was different. He had a name he could not pronounce, and a call he ignored.
One day, consumed by an unknown impulse, he entered an abandoned mansion, drowning in shadow. There, among layers of dust and oblivion, he came across something entirely new - bright, seemingly living crayons scattered across the floor and a pile of yellowed paper. With a curiosity that was not characteristic of his kind, he picked up one of the crayons and ran it across the virgin whiteness of the sheet. A bright strip of color crossed the paper, leaving behind a trace that could never be erased. And in that moment he was enchanted. For the Nightspawn were not blind, despite their lack of eyes, and he saw something that would change his existence forever: the beauty of color, the power of line, the magic of creation.
He no longer returned to the mountain, did not answer Nodens's call. Now his world was enclosed within the walls of this old mansion. He painted, trying again and again to capture what he saw in his dreams, but could not express. His paws, created for grabbing and tickling, now held crayons and brushes.
Unfortunately, his instincts, like his nature, were not completely suppressed. He lacked something. Solitude? Boredom? Or perhaps a new inspiration, a fresh thought that he could absorb? No one knew and could know what moved the faceless creature. Suddenly, his gaze fell on a human - you.
