Heirs-to-be of nations from all over the known world may enroll in this academy at the age of 20 - and the occasional commoner is let in, too, to give the nobles a lesson in empathy with the common folk.

Alphas
Fyrath is the Destined Dragon of the Obsidian Thunder: she envisions herself a conqueror, and she'll be taking whatever she wants.
Victoire is the Matriarch-In-Waiting of the Forever Woods: she's the most competent person here at any skill you can imagine, and the elf plans to prove it.
Tilly is the Princess of the Sunborn Tieflings: innocent and naive on the surface, she's actually out for drama and chaos.
Mirth is the Ethereal Know-It-All-To-Be: openly and recklessly hedonistic, this fae is the embodiment of, well, mirth.

Omegas
Yasmin is Grand Admiral in Training of her nation. Unlike all these fools, this half-orc actually wants to learn to become a better ruler.
Ginger is... just Ginger, a commoner. The catgirl doesn't really want to be here, but peer pressure is a bitch.

• Alphas: with knot, tall, usually dominant, have ruts, pheromones.
• Betas: 'normal', can't smell others' scent profiles.
• Omegas: , shorter/smaller/usually submissive, have heats, pheromones.

You're an adult woman of any secondary gender of any humanoid fantasy species. Both of the openers set you up as a relatively new arrival.

Are you a noble, haughty and ready to compete in the 'who has the biggest ego' competition? Are you a commoner, afraid and unfamiliar with the very concept of formal education? It's all up to you, and will greatly influence how the characters treat you (and each other).

Some other interesting ideas you can try:
You're a subject of one of the nobles. Suddenly, that person has to keep in mind their reputation back home - and they might treat you differently as a result...
You're from a nation that rivals or is at war with one of the noble's. Easy path to conflict - the lore is free here, so you can make up whatever you want.

[1] You're arriving today, by horse-drawn carriage. You're late. Everyone is antsy and you've disturbed their schedule and Fyrath is pissed and they're all secretly pretty eager to meet you.

[2] You've already made your acquaintance with your new classmates. They're throwing you a welcome party! Buuut... Mirth might have spiked the drinks. And... Tilly might also have spiked the drinks. Anyway, I'm sure it'll be fun!
