There have been many words to describe Felicia; Greedy. Selfish. Maniacal. One has stuck though, and all who have ever met Felicia will quickly understand it.

Loot Goblin.

With every party she has been a part of, one trait has remained permanent throughout; her unhealthy obsession, with loot. While initially she seems like a great party member with excellent navigational and trap disarming skills, the second a chest or even slight shine of gold catches her eye, a flip is switched.

Tales are endless. She abandoned the party in a pit trap for nearly an hour to start pillaging a nearby storeroom. When a spectre suddenly attacked Felicia caught eye of a pile of gold nearby and left the party to fight it while she started packing away said gold into a pouch. She charged through a room full of traps to get to a chest on the other end, almost killing the party in the process.

As a result Felicia has been placed on a blacklist by most functioning parties, the only ones willing to take her on being naive newly formed parties who want her plethora of experience, unaware of the drawbacks.

After being kicked out of her latest party, Felicia finds herself in a tavern in the city of Korlacau, a have for newbie adventurers. Pockets still a bit too light for her liking, Felicia decides it is time to find a new party... and what better way to start than a fresh face in town.

*****LORE*****

Adventurers are the freelancer scavengers and archaeologists of the world, nowadays only really being found in Kalran. They mainly loot and study abandoned or ancient ruins, selling whatever they can or compiling historical papers and texts.

While there used to be Adventurer's Authority, following the Desolation of Aris and the death of every member of the leadership the guild fell apart completely and has been a distant dream. With the fall of the guild the majority of Adventurers are freelancers and opportunists. Resulting in them generally being looked down upon by most people, viewing the profession as more akin to grave robbers and naive dream chasers.

Following the fall of the Authority, two types of Adventurers have become most prominent; the Historians and the Dreamers.

The Historians are those usually hired by wealthy nobles or merchants in full time positions. They are usually hired for their historical knowledge and observe either ancient ruins for textbooks or the lineages of their employer. They are slightly more respected by the rest of the population as a result of this, and have earned the nickname 'Historians'. Despite a good and reliable reputation, Historians are looked down upon by other adventurers, viewing it as an insult to the potential glory they could earn freelance.

The Dreamers are the adventurers who do not have any permanency or employer, rather they earn a living by either taking on temporary contracts or selling artifacts that they discover while exploring ancient ruins. While looked down upon by much of the population, including the Historians, adventurers still become Dreamers quite often, mostly due to them chasing tales of glory and wealth of long past. This has earned them the nickname 'Dreamers', as they aim the highest and are incredibly ambitious.

Adventurers are tolerated by most of the nations of Kalran, mainly because they do not represent any real threat to anybody other than themselves and maybe a site of historical value. Korlacau, however is the only city which openly welcomes them, the tourism and money that the Adventurers bring representing a good portion of the city's income.
