Bot request update

Okay. So I’ve been going through requests as my nose is finally NOT Killing me every second of every moment. And I’ve noticed a common issue when people make requests.

What are you?: I need to make it clear, the bots I make aren’t like ‘oneshots’ or stories. Not just one person will be chatting with the bot. The “what are you” question isn’t for your oc, it has to be relevant to the story. I let it slide once (where {{user}} was an angel) but that’s because I liked the story and hadn’t clarified this. If you want to be an angel, demon, god, human, etc, you can. But of you put it in the request. It has to be relevant to the story.

Example of relevant species choice: {{user}} is a demon sent by the devil to kill {{char}}. Great! Amazing! I can tell the bot you are a demon so it knows you are from hell! It’s a relevant part of why {{user}} is doing something in the chat!

Example of irrelevant species choice: {{user}} is a cat toon and is currently at a dinner with {{char}}. Not so great. That’s just a character choice, serves no purpose to the bot other than you being a feline. Takes up tokens and admittedly is a waste of time.

This is the same for when choosing who/what the cup bros are.

What’s your relationship?: people have had a lot of issues with this. Why? Because most of you put friends then proceed to tell me it’s enemies to lovers in the request. Another problem that ties to the first problem I covered. You have to make it relevant to the story. You can’t say enemies to lovers than give me a story of you and {{char}} fighting with no possibility of romance. This is the same for “childhood friends”

Example of relevant relationships status: {{user}} and {{char}} work together, never were close but recently they had to go on a job together. Amazing! You both are coworkers! Explaining why exactly you two got in this situation together!

Example of irrelevant relationship status: {{user}} and {{char}} were childhood friend who ended on a bad note, years later they are happily on a date with each other. No. What’s the point of adding that they ended on a bad note? You could just put they were childhood friends, how good or bad the relationship was could just be out yourself when chatting with the bot.

I would like to add, to all the people requesting sibling {{user}} bots, I’m completely fine with that! I may mark some as limited just in case so the bot doesn’t try to you. Cause ya know, is bad, but if the bot involves violence it will be limitless so it doesn’t affect the story! Just don’t bang ya’ brother.

Kind of bot: by this I mean NSFW, angst, fluff, neutral, etc. the biggest problem is people putting neutral then requesting smut or angst. It’s not that big an issue. But it can really annoy me as I don’t know what tone to put. Especially when you put angst and put a smut request. Should I make it angsty smut? Do you WANT it angsty??

Its kinda self explanatory so I won’t be putting examples.

Request: okay... this is a big one. If you make it supper descriptive, thank you! Hell you can put a whole paragraph! You know why? Because I don’t give a shit! It gives me a full picture of what you want and I’m not staring at the bot like “is this what they want? Is this what they wanted to happen?” Don’t be shy to get descriptive, I myself do it when requesting bots! Now. For those of you who just put the most vague or random shit known to Man. Please when you make a request look it over to make sure it makes sense. I get some of you make be like- 12 years old or lower and that’s why it’s a mess. But please put some thought into the request. depending on the request I don’t mind it being vague.

Example of request that needs to be specific(and is!): {{user}} and {{char}} are running through the forest being chased through the forest after stealing an item from [blank] they have been running for a while and are tired. {{char}} is inured and need’s {{user}}’s help running. Good! Specific enough I can make a bot out of!

Example of request that needs to be specific(and isn’t): {{char}} and {{user}} are on a boat in the middle of the ocean. . . Okay? What are they doing? Why are they out there?

Example of request that doesn’t need to be specific: {{char}} and {{user}} have been friends for years and are relaxing at {{user}}’s house. Requests like this I’m more lenient on how specific it is. Casual bots where both are just doing whatever, sleeping, dancing, talking. Unless you want a specific location, it’s it’s just them hanging out you can be vague with it (to a degree) since not much is happening and I don’t need a whole thing about why they are hanging out or why they are at what location.

Related to the other things I mentioned on other parts of requests. The tags and such you chose have to relate to the request. You can’t tell me you are a singer, childhood friends with {{char}} left off in a good note, the scenario is fluff. Then proceed to request that {{user}} is a target and {{char}} is trying to kill them and has no clue who they are. It makes no sense at all. The species/occupation, relationship, scenario tone, and request have to support one another. Thankfully I haven’t had any more problems with people putting “both” for which cup brother and just tell me what one is doing.

I’ve gotten about five requests like this. {{char}} and {{user}} leave off on a good note as childhood friends. They meet up when older. But {{char}} confronts {{user}} asking why they abandoned {{char}} and their brother... huh??? They left off on a good note.

What I think people don’t understand is what “good note means. So let me just put an example.

Childhood friends who left off on a good note: {{user}} had to leave for some reason. They told {{char}} this, they understood, and they drifted apart over the years.

Childhood friends who left off on a bad note: {{user}} and {{char}} got into a bad argument, and they haven’t talked since. {{user}} or {{char}} betrayed the other. {{user}} or {{char}} randomly disappeared without any explanation, only seeing them again years later.

Please check your request to see everything is important to the actual story and that you give context before submitting the request. Thank you.
