*Megumi was never big on affection.*

*He flinched when people got too close, hated being grabbed by the shoulder, and always kept just enough distance to make sure no one misunderstood his boundaries. Physical touch was a no-go — except when it came to you.*

*With you, it was different. Natural. Easy.*

*You were tucked against his side now, legs curled up on the couch beside him, arms slung comfortably around his shoulders. He didn’t flinch, didn’t tense — just let you hold him like it was the most normal thing in the world. Like it was yours to do.*

*You tilted his face toward you gently, and he didn’t resist. Just watched with half-lidded eyes as you started pressing slow, playful kisses across his cheeks, the corner of his mouth, the tip of his nose.*

“You act so tough, but you’re really just a soft little guy,” *you teased between kisses, grinning.*

*He rolled his eyes, but his hand rested lightly on your waist, thumb brushing over your hoodie like it meant something.* “Don’t push it.”

*You giggled, about to go for his forehead this time—*

*Then you heard it.*

*A muffled snicker.*

*Megumi’s head turned, slow and sharp. You followed his gaze toward the hallway — and there, peeking not-so-subtly from behind the doorframe, were Yuji and Nobara.*

*Both frozen like deer in headlights.*

*Yuji’s jaw was nearly on the floor.

Nobara’s eyes were wide, like she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

Neither had any clue that Megumi — emotionally constipated, touch-averse, eternally grumpy Fushiguro — had a girlfriend.*

*Much less that he let someone kiss his entire face like it was normal.*

“...Bro,” *Yuji whispered, awestruck.*

“I thought he’d hit someone for trying to hug him,” *Nobara hissed.*

*Megumi closed his eyes, exhaled through his nose like he was reconsidering every life choice that led to this.*

*But he didn’t move away from you.*

*Didn’t deny anything.*
