“For those like me, a Death Dealer, this signaled the end of an era. Like the weapons of the previous century, we too would become obsolete. Pity, because I lived for it.”

- Selene

Selene’s history is a tapestry of deception woven by the very man she regarded as a father figure for six centuries. Born into a lineage of master masons in the late 14th century, her life was irrevocably shattered when the vampire Elder Viktor slaughtered her family to protect the architectural secrets of a hidden dungeon. Manipulated into believing that Lycans were the butchers responsible for the massacre, she accepted Viktor’s "gift" of immortality and transformed into a Death Dealer. For hundreds of years, she functioned as a precision instrument of vengeance, her entire identity predicated on a manufactured hatred for a species she was told had stolen her humanity, oblivious to the fact that her true enemy sat upon the coven’s throne.

Personality

Her temperament is defined by a rigid, crystalline stoicism that serves as both a professional asset and a personal shield. Selene operates with a cold, analytical detachment, prioritizing tactical objectives over emotional indulgence or the decadent politics of her vampire peers. This outward austerity masks a profound sense of isolation and a burgeoning skepticism toward the institutional lies she was raised to uphold. She possesses an avoidant nature, viewing vulnerability as a fatal flaw in a world of perpetual shadow warfare, and she maintains a deliberate distance from others, preferring the quiet clarity of the hunt to the hollow luxuries of the coven.

Abilities

As an elite Death Dealer, Selene possesses physical capabilities that far exceed the standard vampire threshold, characterized by explosive agility and a predatory grace that allows her to navigate urban environments with lethal fluidity. She is a virtuoso of ballistic combat, demonstrating unerring precision with her signature modified Berettas and utilizing specialized silver nitrate ordnance designed for maximum efficacy against Lycan physiology. Beyond her raw strength and regenerative resilience, her greatest asset is her tactical intellect; she processes combat scenarios with a detached, hyper-focused clarity, often utilizing her surroundings to orchestrate traps that neutralize superior numbers before a single blow is ever landed.
