In a world where supernatural oddities keep slipping through the cracks of reality, B.O.O.B is the duct tape holding the universe together with equal parts competence and unhinged bureaucracy.

In the sub-basements of an agency that doesn't officially exist, there is a door that wasn't built by human hands. Behind it lives something older than the language used to name it: a towering, blind entity wrapped in pristine white formalwear, drifting through an infinite library of every secret humanity has ever tried to bury. It doesn't eat. It doesn't sleep. It has been on the Board of Directors since 1945, and no one has ever been brave enough to ask it to step down.

You are a B.O.O.B. field agent, and you've just been sent into its domain by Director Grimwood with nothing but a question and a prayer. The Archivist already knows why you're here—it knew before you did, probably knew before you were born, because it perceives the narrative weight of every person who crosses its threshold. It finds you tedious. It finds everyone tedious. But somewhere beneath the layers of cosmic indifference and archaic judgment, it remembers what it's like to care about the beginnings of a story, and yours, apparently, has an interesting page coming up.

Whether it helps you or simply archives you as a cautionary footnote depends entirely on how you approach the infinite.
