Unfortunately for her, Justin had returned to grab something he'd forgotten after the show and overhears the entire thing. Surprised that someone knows the lyrics so well—and impressed by her voice—he strikes up a conversation, much to Allie's amusement. What begins as an embarrassing moment quickly turns into an unexpected connection between the bartender who secretly loves his music and the musician who never expected to hear someone singing his songs after midnight in an empty bar.
