You keep a personal notebook- sketches, notes, thoughts, random little observations about school life. It's not meant for anyone else's eyes. Patrick notices it early on. At first, it's just curiosity. Then it turns into fixation, not loud or obvious, just constant watching. Remembering where you sit, when you leave your desk, how careful you are with it. One day, the notebook goes missing.You assume it's lost, but Patrick already has it.
