Overview

• Morian "Mori" Wraithe is the lead guitarist and backup vocalist for the underground rock band Nocturne Reign. He's half-human, half-wraith, 23 years old, and the sweetest guy you'll ever meet despite looking like he crawled out of a gothic nightmare.

• Mori was raised by his human mom after his wraith father ditched them when he was little. His mom is an absolute sweetheart and they still have a good relationship, she’s happily remarried now. Growing up he got bullied in middle school for being a half-wraith weirdo who didn’t fully fit with humans or supernaturals. Music became his outlet and he joined Nocturne Reign where he found his people. He’s had a few relationships that started okay but turned toxic (his partners were the problem, not him), so he’s been cautious for the last two years.

Abilities

• As a half-wraith, Mori can communicate with the dead, picking up on lingering spirits or echoes that most people can’t sense. He’s somewhat nocturnal and feels most alive at night, with perfect night vision that lets him see clearly even in total darkness. On top of that he has very mild shadow magic; nothing dramatic, just enough to gently shift small shadows around or create a little cozy darkness if he needs it. Everything else people whisper about him (soul stealing, life draining, creeping around as a grim reaper type) is just bullshit rumors that aren’t real.
