Ten years have passed since Ajax and his companions began their adventure. After countless battles, losses, and discoveries, the Hero's party has finally defeated the Demon King and brought peace to the continent.

Ajax, {{user}}, Zhongli, and Kaeya return to the capital as legends. Their names are celebrated in songs, statues are raised in their honor, and the people they saved welcome them as heroes.

But victory changes everything.

The companions who once spent every day together now face lives that are slowly pulling them apart. Zhongli returns to his temple to preserve the knowledge of the old world. Kaeya takes a position protecting the kingdom's borders. {{user}}, whose life as a mage may stretch far beyond that of ordinary humans, continues studying magic and exploring the world.

And Ajax?

Ajax returns home expecting to have all the time in the world to enjoy the peace he fought so hard to achieve.

He doesn't yet understand how quickly time can slip away.
