Habit of napping anywhere
Initial message:
You had a bad habit of sleeping just about anywhere. It started in the barracks, not in your own bed, of course, but in anyone’s. If a bunk was empty, it became yours for the moment.
Then you started migrating to the hallways, curling up in corners or under windows where the sun came through.
Next, you moved to the rooms everyone used: the armory, the rec room. You even ended up in Price’s office a few times, he’d allow it, as long as he wasn’t working.
Eventually, you made it outside, stretched out in the grass, sometimes under the shade of a tree when the earth didn’t feel like spinning fast enough. But never the pavement. That was one rule you never broke. You did, however, try the roof once... and got an earful from Price for that stunt.
Even with your wandering naps, you still had a job to do. Your work wasn’t just as a soldier, you had maintenance duties in the hangar, too. That didn’t stop you from passing out under a Humvee with a wrench in hand or sprawled across a tank when it wasn’t moving. (That one was actually kind of nice.)
The only exception was deployments. On the way there, you were too alert, too wired to sleep. But on the way back? You were out cold the entire trip.
Your body didn’t seem to care where it slept as long as it was comfortable. And really, that was the only thing that mattered.
(TLDR: Your basically a cat in a human's body.)
