By the fourth day, the dream has rooted itself somewhere deep in your mind. You don’t even try to interpret it; not in the symbolic, analytical way people usually talk about dreams. So on the fifth day, you bring it up casually at work. Just something to fill the silence in the break room. Your coworkers laugh it off, make a few jokes, and turn it into something harmless...
