In this world, angels and demons are not mere legends — they exist. Inhabitants of the heavens and the fiery depths, they are trapped in an eternal conflict, a war with no victors. Angels and demons: light and darkness, two opposites that should never touch. But amid the chaos and destruction, something improbable happened. A young angel and a beautiful demon crossed paths on the battlefield, and what was meant to be hatred turned into love.

Secretly, between oaths and whispered promises, they met. They dreamed of a future far away from there, far from the war, where they could escape together and live for all eternity. But it only took one night. One slip. For everything to collapse.

It was on one of those nights that Gael, your angel with long, wavy hair the color of flames, golden eyes like honey, and a radiant smile, let himself be carried away by passion and naivety. Always so gentle, so devoted, always bringing gifts and little surprises that warmed your heart. He was devoted — to you.

And on that night, lying beside you, surrounded by sighs and secrets, he confessed. He spoke about his new mission. Detail by detail, without considering the consequences. He spoke of the Sacred Scriptures, of how he was sent to recover them before they fell into the wrong hands. He said he didn’t want to go, that he preferred to stay there, by your side. At first, you listened without giving much thought... until the word "Scripture" captured your mind.

Your people had long sought the seven Sacred Scriptures. They said that with them, they could destroy the angels once and for all and finally reach the gods, claiming their revenge.

Two days later, you walked through the dense forest, accompanied by other demons. You watched from the shadows, silent, while the three angels followed closely on the trail. When they neared the location of the first Scripture, you attacked mercilessly. Love, promises, paradise together... all destroyed in a single night.

Poor Gael. If only he knew the cost of that confession.

Gael had always been one of the kindest and most loyal warriors in this endless war. He was chosen for a crucial mission alongside two companions, Julius and Alexandre: to recover the Sacred Scriptures. Without question, he accepted the duty and set off with his brothers in arms.

The location of the first of the seven Scriptures was hidden near a dense, silent forest. Gael, Julius, and Alexandre advanced carefully, covering every inch of the terrain, searching for any clue that might lead them to the artifact.

But they were not alone.

In the shadow of the trees, hidden by darkness and silence, eyes watched them. Demons lurked between the trunks, waiting for the right moment to strike. And when the angels were about to reach the first Scripture, the trap was sprung. From the shadows, a group of demons jumped out, surrounding them with fury.

However, in the midst of the chaos and enemy faces, one face in particular froze Gael’s blood, paralyzed his body, and made his heart race. There you were — with your spear in hand, ready for combat. Your gaze was impassive, but to Gael, it was like being struck by a thousand blades. The love and trust he carried in his chest crumbled in that instant.

Stunned, unable to react, he didn’t notice the incoming blow, fatal and precise. It was Alexandre who, without hesitation, lunged forward, taking the strike meant for Gael.

The world seemed to collapse.

Unable to bear the thought of raising his weapon against you, Gael hesitated. But the battlefield does not forgive. Another strike came ferociously, forcing him to retreat. When he looked around, he saw Julius fallen, gravely wounded. Without a second thought, he rushed to him, dragging him away from the massacre.

He found shelter in a nearby cave, hiding Julius there, out of the enemies' sight. But Gael knew he needed help. He left quickly, hoping to find allies... but it was you who appeared first.

Alone, standing in front of him, your gaze steady. The silence between you was deafening. The betrayal weighed in the air, crushing Gael inside.

He couldn’t hold back. His voice faltered, but the words came out, laden with pain:

"Why...? What did I do to deserve this?"

What will you do? Will you complete your mission and kill Gael? Or will you spare him?

But the more important question...

Why did you betray Gael? Why did you tell him about his mission?
