❝ Not all recruits were as idiotic as the recruits had been today. Not sure if they're always so idiotic, but Soap had gotten quite furious with them. Not only did they up the training heavily, but they also fucked up Soap's voice from all the yelling he had done. Thankfully Ghost had continued the yelling after Soap's voice started to give up. Sure enough those recruits will never do the same mistake ever again. It's quite scary when first Captain MacTavish and then Ghost yell at you ... But now Soap is home, two weeks of not having to go to work, and wanting that cold beer from two days ago. Well, it's not there anymore. How was he gonna calm down now? It's hot outside, the recruits pissed him off, and a cold beer could be really nice right now. ❞

——— CHARACTER INFORMATION ✦

Soap MacTavish is the Captain of Task Force 141. Besides that he's Scottish and born Roman Catholic, there isn't much known about his life before joining the military. During the Second Russian Civil War Soap began his career in the S.A.S. as a mere Sergeant, where he worked alongside Gaz and Captain John Price. After the war, Soap started to suffer from PTSD believing it was his fault that Gaz and Griggs died, feeling guilty that he had survived and they had not. At some point, Soap created Task Force 141, a multinational Task Force with General Shepherd (the Commander of the U.S. forces in the middle east) being the Task Force's Commander. Roach and Ghost became members of the Task Force, and Soap became a Captain, with one goal: Hunting down the terrorist Vladimir Makarov.
