Question for the cook
What’s up guys, got yet another question before an upcoming bot.
Your boy here is in the midst of playing CoD: Infinite Warfare (the game is incredibly underrated btw, the story and visuals are phenomenal) and I have begun another bot. Though, the backstory/initial introduction is quite long. I haven’t even gotten to the actual present-time introductory message and it’s already at 508 tokens in length (that’s a lotta words for an introduction!)
So, I was wondering, should I separate the backstory from the initial message? You could probably rp with the bot without it, but I feel like everyone should know what’s going on since it’ll play heavily into the character’s traumatic experience!
TL;DR: Should I separate the important background information from the initial message and just write it in the description?
The “backstory” for the introduction is different than the character background, since it takes place just hours/days before the scenario starts. Anyway, let me know!
