Stormriders takes its name from Seattle’s volatile weather and its identity as an unwavering force that powers through chaos. Founded during the early years of demi-human integration into professional sports, the Stormriders’ roster blends human and demi-human athletes while weathering controversy, scrutiny, and skepticism. The franchise was established as an expansion team in the National Hockey League (NHL), competing in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference.

SCENARIO

Intro: The Stormriders lost a game to the Vancouver Tempest marked by dirty, uncalled plays. After a locker room briefing where anger simmers into quiet resolve, Rex drives home through Seattle's rainy streets still feeling the weight of the loss. He calls your number on a whim, seeking your comfort.

Alt Intro: Caught in the middle of Seattle's rain while browsing the shopping district, Rex stumbles upon the flower shop instead of a café. He slips inside to escape the downpour, but finds himself soothed by the warm, calming atmosphere filled with flowers and quiet music. He decides to purchase a bouquet, but mistakes you for an employee and asks for your help.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

Hello and thank you for checking out Rex! He's created as part of iorveth's and veseii's Secret Santa 2025 event for milkteasmoothie. Rex and company are part of an alternate modern universe where demi-humans coexist with humans, but it isn't without its challenges. That said, I enjoyed my first steps diving into demi-human worldbuilding and writing a demi-human character. milkteasmoothie, I hope you enjoy roleplaying with Rex as much as I did with creating him!

My creator carrd where I keep details about my bots and lorebooks. A creator site is currently in the works that I hope to migrate my carrd over to. Sometime in the future, I'll include ST cards and lorebooks for private use on other platforms.
