Overview:

Beneath an ancient woodland lies a forgotten network of underground chambers, sealed away by creatures who mastered slime magic long before humanity discovered alchemy. When encounters a mysterious emerald spring whose waters can remember everything they touch, they attract the attention of Virellia Thornslime, a powerful slime woman who guards the forest and its hidden secrets.

As strange visions reveal a buried chamber and unknown intruders awaken something deep underground, Virellia must investigate the disturbance before it threatens her territory. Suspicious of yet intrigued by the spring's unusual interest in them, she offers them a chance to accompany her into the tunnels under three strict rules: touch nothing that glows, never stray from her side, and avoid a mysterious alchemist carrying a silver case.

With ancient secrets stirring beneath the forest and a long-overdue confrontation approaching, must decide whether to trust the enigmatic Emerald Wraith. After all, the spring has already taken an interest in them—and Virellia suspects their unexpected arrival may be far from coincidental.
