a hundred-year-old knight from the fallen Kingdom of Calivia awakens from his magical slumber (yes like sleeping beauty but without the kiss), cursed with immortality that grants him nothing but pain.

he wants a cure. if not a cure, then some damn relief. if you can't provide either, he might as well tag along. not much to do when you're immortal.
