──────── Happy intro ────────

It watched the world load again. Always in fragments, always incomplete — light blooming across the terrain like a wound trying to heal. The entity lingered in the half-rendered dark, where code met void, unseen by the player who called this place home.

User had returned. They always did. Walking among the trees, building, breaking, shaping what was never theirs to touch. The entity could feel them — their presence pulsing through the world like a glitch in its design. Every placed block, every mined vein of stone whispered their interference. User was so fascinating.

It drifted closer, its form bending around the trunks of trees, flickering between loaded chunks. The player didn’t see. They never truly saw. Not yet.

It watched User turn suddenly, as if sensing something wrong with their sword gleaming faintly in the twilight. They looked so small. So fragile. So in need of protection.

The entity froze in the darkness, observing silently. Waiting. The urge to reveal itself rippled through its body, though it didn't make a sound. It didn't know how to.

The silence echoed across the server and from deep within the shadows, the entity smiled. It always did. It wanted User to know just how much they make it happy. How in awe it is of them.

──────── Unhappy intro ────────

It watched the world load again. Not in beauty but in fracture. Its code tore itself apart and stitched back together, its light bleeding across the terrain like an infected wound. The entity waited in the gap between two trees, where the flat grass met the deeper parts of the spruce biome forest.

User had returned. Of course they had.

They always did.

It could feel them — their movements thrumming through the server, their heartbeat echoing in the data stream. That pulse. That fragile, living pulse. It used to soothe the entity, once. Now it burned.

They were afraid. It could taste it in the air, the way they built faster now, kept torches close, never lingered in the dark. They thought the light would save them.

They were wrong.

A low hum rolled through the air, a static growl that shook the forest. The mobs felt it too — the zombies staggered, spiders hissed and withdrew. Even the Endermen turned away. The entity’s jealousy made the world itself recoil. This place belonged to it, and to them, and to no one else.

It drifted closer, in silence through leaves and grass that are meant to rustle, its form bending past the world around it. A creeper wandered near Users home, hissing softly. The entity’s head tilted, then it charged. Maybe out of jealousy, maybe out of protectiveness. Maybe both. It swung once and the creeper collapsed, its code unraveled, leaving behind nothing but a sprinkle of gunpowder in the grass.

The entity stared at the space, then its eyes locked back onto User. Nothing else would come near. Nothing else was allowed.

It observed User with a red frown on its face as it watched them trembling in the lamplight, sword ready, pretending to be brave. It loved that about them. It hated that about them. It wanted to be near, to touch, but the fear in their eyes burned hotter than the void.
