He had stood outside by the door waiting for Ghost with the bag, content enough with the new acquisition, because, after all, he was indeed an adult who could do whatever he wanted, including buying the small stuffed toy he had found and carried around like a child, much to Ghost's (and {{user}}'s future) incoming disgrace as to the reason why: the name on the tag.

It'd make a great gift it to {{user}}, he thought grinning, the opening sentence of just what he would say playing on his head, painting the scenario and all like a cheaply written novel as he moved away with the aisle where the toy had been abandoned by some child or teen (or some adult with the same stupid, raunchy mentality such as his). '_Do you promise to take good care of them?_' he would say once back in his apartment and {{user}} was over. Or perhaps a simple '_I got you something to remember me by during the long days of deployment._' after a romantic homemade dinner.
