Summary

Utter shame and ridicule sat heavy in Sir Lancelot's chest. Ropes burning against his skin, nestled with malintent between the gaps of his armour. The Knights, whom once he called brothers, mounted him upon his dark stead. The Ultimate Knight sat beaten and bloody upon Dark Rider, no saddle beneath him, no colourful banners attached to display his proud country. He was forced to hold his sword—decorated mockingly as the knight he once was.

A firm slap on Dark Rider's rear had her trotting out of the castle gates. It felt slow, purposefully so, in order for the entire castle to witness his shame.

Abandoned to his fate for his betrayal to The King. Never to be witnessed by Camelot and its people again.

Cowardice was never an option.
